<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Performance Lab Plugin (and other performance plugins)</strong></h2>

<li><a href="https://profiles.wordpress.org/flixos90/" class="mention"><span class="mentions-prefix">@</span>flixos90</a> has started work on the new <strong>View Transitions</strong> feature plugin (see <a href="https://github.com/WordPress/performance/issues/1997" data-type="link" data-id="https://github.com/WordPress/performance/issues/1997">issue #1997</a>). The work is being tracked through a series of iterative PRs, starting with theme support and dynamic transition name handling. It builds on the experimental Core PR <a class="" href="https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-develop/pull/8370">wordpress-develop#8370</a> and will include a UI for customizing transitions.
